Public Transport

The Schönbrunn Palace, where the Najadenbassin is located, is easily accessible via Vienna's efficient public transport system. The U4 metro line stops directly at the 'Schönbrunn' station. From the station, walk approximately 400 meters , following the signs to the palace grounds. Tram lines 10 and 60 also stop at 'Schloss Schönbrunn', near the palace's main entrance. A single public transport ticket costs €2.40. A 24-hour ticket is available for €8.00.

Walking

From the main entrance of Schönbrunn Palace, enter the gardens and follow the main path. The Najadenbassin is located at the intersection of the two main avenues within the park, a short walk from the palace. The walk is mostly flat and offers scenic views of the gardens. There are no additional costs involved.

Car

If driving, head towards Hietzing, Vienna. Paid parking is available in the vicinity of Schönbrunn Palace. Follow signs to Schönbrunn Palace and then for Obeliskenallee. Parking on Schönbrunner Schloßstraße costs approximately €3.90 per hour, up to a maximum of €39 per day. Parking at the zoo at the rear of the palace is another option. Consider using a Park and Ride garage and taking the metro to avoid potential parking difficulties.
