Start by heading to the nearest bus or tram stop in Eisenstadt. Take tram line 6 towards 'Eisenstadt, Gärtnerstraße' or bus line 1 towards 'Eisenstadt, Bahnhof'. After approximately 10 minutes, arrive at Eisenstadt train station. From there, take a train to Vienna (Wien) Hauptbahnhof. The journey will take around 1 hour. Once you arrive at Wien Hauptbahnhof, transfer to the U1 subway line and head towards 'Stephansplatz'. At 'Stephansplatz', transfer to the U3 line towards 'Ottakring' and get off at 'Herrengasse'. Exit the station and walk towards Michaelerplatz, which is just a short 5-minute stroll away.

If you are already in the center of Eisenstadt, start at the main square (Hauptplatz) and head east towards the Bahnhofstraße. Walk straight until you reach the Eisenstadt train station. From there, take the train to Vienna (Wien) Hauptbahnhof. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the U1 subway line and take it towards 'Stephansplatz'. After reaching 'Stephansplatz', switch to the U3 line towards 'Ottakring' and get off at 'Herrengasse'. Exit the subway station and walk to Michaelerplatz, which will take you about 5 minutes on foot.
