Public Transport - Bus

From Eisenstadt city center, head to the nearest bus stop, which is 'Bahnhof'. Take bus line 7 towards 'Neufeld bei Wien'. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at 'Eisenstadt Bahnhof'. From there, transfer to the train service towards Wien. Once on the train, enjoy a scenic ride to 'Wien Westbahnhof'. Upon arrival, transfer to the U-Bahn line U3 (the orange line) towards 'Simmering'. Alight at 'Zieglergasse' station. Exit the station and walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach Arthur-Schnitzler-Platz 1, where the Volkstheater is located.

Walking

If you are already in Eisenstadt, head towards the city center and locate the main square, 'Hauptplatz'. From there, make your way to 'Neustiftgasse', then continue walking straight until you reach 'Eisenstadt Bahnhof'. From the station, take the train to Vienna, which will take about 30 minutes. After arriving at 'Wien Westbahnhof', take the U-Bahn line U3 (orange line) towards 'Simmering'. Get off at 'Zieglergasse' station and walk straight for about 5 minutes to reach Volkstheater at Arthur-Schnitzler-Platz 1.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your location in Eisenstadt to the nearest train station, 'Eisenstadt Bahnhof'. The taxi ride should take about 5-10 minutes. Once at the station, board a train heading to Vienna. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at 'Wien Westbahnhof'. From there, take the U-Bahn line U3 (orange line) towards 'Simmering' and get off at 'Zieglergasse'. It’s a short 5-minute walk to Volkstheater located at Arthur-Schnitzler-Platz 1.
