Public Transport

From Eisenstadt, head to the Eisenstadt train station (Bahnhof Eisenstadt). You can walk there from the city center, which should take around 10-15 minutes. Once at the train station, take a train to Vienna (Wien). The travel time is approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Central Station), follow the signs to the U-Bahn (subway) station located within the train station. Take the U1 line (red line) in the direction of Stephansplatz. Get off at the Stephansplatz station, which is just a few stops away. Exit the station and head towards Graben street, then walk towards the Hofburg Palace. Continue walking until you reach Friedrich-Schmidt-Platz. Palais Obentraut is located at Friedrich-Schmidt-Platz 8.

Walking

If you are already in the center of Eisenstadt, you can enjoy a leisurely walk to the Eisenstadt train station. From the city center, head towards the main street (Bahnstraße) and follow the signs to the station. Once you arrive at the station, board a train to Vienna. Once you reach Wien Hauptbahnhof, follow the directions for Public Transport above to reach Palais Obentraut.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct and comfortable option, you can take a taxi from Eisenstadt to Wien. You can find taxis near major hotels or call a local taxi service.
