If you are starting from the city center, head to the nearest U-Bahn (subway) station. Take the U3 line (the orange line) towards 'Herrengasse'. Transfer at 'Volkstheater' station and change to the U2 line (the purple line) towards 'Karlsplatz'. Get off at 'Karlsplatz' and follow the signs for the exit towards 'Mariahilfer Strasse'. Once you exit, walk down Mariahilfer Strasse in the direction of 'Neubau'. After a short walk, you will find Platz der Menschenrechte on your left at Mariahilfer Strasse 1.

If you are nearby in the Neubau district, start at Neubaugasse and head towards Mariahilfer Strasse. Turn right onto Mariahilfer Strasse and walk straight until you reach the intersection with the street leading to Platz der Menschenrechte. The square is located at Mariahilfer Strasse 1. Look for the large public space with benches and art installations.

If you are near the 'Burggasse-Stadthalle' tram stop, take tram line 5 towards 'Schottentor'. Get off at 'Westbahnhof' tram stop and transfer to tram line 49 towards 'Hernals'. Disembark at 'Mariahilfer Strasse' stop. From there, walk a few minutes down Mariahilfer Strasse towards the city center, and you will see Platz der Menschenrechte on your left.
