Getting There

• U-Bahn

  If you are near the Stephansplatz station, take the U1 (Red Line) or U3 (Orange Line) trains. If you take the U1, get off at the 'Karlsplatz' station and transfer to the U2 (Purple Line), then get off at 'Rathaus' station. From there, walk towards the Franziskanerplatz, which is about a 10-minute walk. If you take the U3, get off at 'Herrengasse' station and walk approximately 7 minutes to reach Franziskanerpl. 4.

• Tram

  You can take the tram lines 1 or 2 and get off at the 'Schottentor' stop. From there, walk towards Franziskanerplatz, which is about a 5-minute walk. As you exit the tram stop, head south on Universitätsring, continue walking straight until you reach the intersection, then turn left onto Franziskanerplatz.

• Bus

  If you are near the 'Schottentor' bus stop, take bus line 40A towards 'Hinterbrühl' and get off at 'Rathaus'. From there, it is a short walk to Franziskanerpl. 4. After exiting the bus, head straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the main square.

• Walking

  If you are in the central area of Vienna, you can simply walk to the Franciscan Church. For example, from the famous St. Stephen's Cathedral, head northwest on Stephansplatz, turn left onto Graben street, and continue walking straight until you reach the Franziskanerplatz. This should take around 15-20 minutes.
