Rathausplatz is located in the Innere Stadt (1st district) and is easily accessible on foot from many central Vienna locations. From the Hofburg Palace, walk north along the Ringstraße, passing the Volksgarten park on your right. Continue until you see the Rathaus on the left side of the Ringstraße.
