A 'Wachau Day Ticket' for €12 allows unlimited travel on buses and ferries in the Wachau Valley.

    From Spitz, take the Rollfähre Spitz-Arnsdorf ferry across the Danube. The ferry operates from March to October (6:15 AM - 7:00 PM Mon-Fri, 8:15 AM - 7:30 PM Sat/Sun/Holidays) and has limited winter hours. The ferry costs €2.20 per adult for a one-way trip. From the Arnsdorf ferry landing, follow the signs towards Hoher Stein, which is about a 1-hour uphill walk.
