Getting there

Walking

Take a bus to Weißenkirchen in der Wachau. From there, you can hike towards Kienstockspitze, following local hiking trails. The bus fare from Krems to Weißenkirchen is approximately €3-5. The hike from Weißenkirchen to Kienstockspitze adds about 3-4 hours to the journey.

Driving

Drive to Oberkienstock and park at the designated parking area near the Meurersteig. From there, follow the hiking trails to Kienstockspitze. Parking is generally free, but availability may be limited during peak season. Note that some roads leading to Oberkienstock may be narrow and winding.
