    If you're traveling by car, start from any location in Wachau and navigate towards the town of Krems an der Donau. From Krems, take the B37 road heading towards the southeast. Follow the signs for Dürnstein. Continue along the B37 until you reach the junction with the L106, then turn right onto L106. Follow this road for about 5 km, where you will see a sign for Kienstockspitze. There is a small parking area nearby, but be aware that it may require a short walk from the parking spot to the hiking trail.
