Public Transport

From Vienna, take a train to Hötzelsdorf-Geras. From the train station, it's about a 15-minute walk to the Naturpark Geras. Alternatively, take a bus from Wien Praterstern to Horn Hauptplatz, then transfer to another bus to Geras Hauptstraße/Stift. From there, it's a 15-minute walk to the park. Bus fares from Vienna to Geras are approximately €14-€28. A single train ticket from Vienna to Hoetzelsdorf-Geras costs between €18-€25.

Car

If driving from Vienna, take the A22 and B4 to Geras. The drive is approximately 98 km and takes around 1 hour and 23 minutes. Parking is available near the Waldbad Geras. Parking fees may apply.

Nestled in the northeastern Waldviertel, Naturpark Geras invites visitors to consciously experience nature and culture. Established in 1968, it was the third nature park in Lower Austria.
