From the parking area behind the Gasthof Feuerstein (Gschnitz 52, 6150 Gschnitz, Austria), follow the well-marked trail towards the Bremer Hütte. The hike typically takes around 3.5 to 4 hours, ascending through forests and alpine meadows. Be prepared for a challenging ascent with an elevation gain of over 1,100 meters. Ensure you have appropriate hiking gear, water, and snacks. Check weather conditions before starting your hike. A taxi shuttle service is available from Gasthof Feuerstein to Laponesalm (+43 (0)664 1634190), shortening the hike. Parking at Gasthof Feuerstein is paid. A rucksack transport service is available from the valley station of the material lift (located 200m past Laponesalm) to the Bremer Hütte for €6.00 per Gepäckstück.

    To reach the Gasthof Feuerstein in Gschnitztal via public transport, take a train to Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof. From there, take a regional train (S3/S4) towards Brenner, approximately 20 minutes to Steinach am Brenner. From Steinach am Brenner, take Postbus Line 4146 directly to Gasthof Feuerstein in Gschnitztal, a ride of about 25 minutes. A single bus fare will cost approximately €4-6.
