Experience Tirol is located at Maria-Theresien-Straße 31, in the Kaufhaus Tyrol shopping center. From Innsbruck's main train station (Hauptbahnhof), walk south along Maria-Theresien-Straße for approximately 15 minutes. The museum will be on your right. No costs are associated with walking.

Public Transport

Experience Tirol is easily accessible via Innsbruck's efficient public transport system. Take tram lines 1, 3, 6, or STB to the 'Maria-Theresien-Straße' or 'Anichstraße/Rathausgalerien' stop. The museum is a short walk from either stop. A single ticket within Innsbruck costs €3.20. Consider purchasing a 24-hour ticket for €7.00 if you plan to use public transport extensively.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available throughout Innsbruck. A taxi from the main train station to Experience Tirol will take approximately 5 minutes. The base fare for a taxi is approximately €7.10, with a per-kilometer charge of €2. Expect to pay around €15 for the ride.

Visitors can explore virtual reality recreations of historical events and scenic vistas, witness holograms of iconic figures, and immerse themselves in artistic projections that capture the essence of Tyrol. The tour takes you up a glacier to Ötzi, and on a carriage ride through medieval Innsbruck you sit next to none other than Emperor Maximilian I, and further on you will float over the battlefields of the Tyrolean freedom fights in the year 1809.Experience Tirol is designed to captivate a broad audience, from tourists and locals to school groups, offering an unforgettable and educational experience for all ages. The attraction is open daily, with tours starting every 20 minutes and accommodating up to 30 people.
