The trail loops around the Padastertal, a valley branching off from the Wipptal, where the largest disposal site for excavated material from the Brenner Base Tunnel is located.Along the 5.6-kilometer route, hikers encounter a unique blend of nature and engineering. Information boards provide insights into the challenges and innovations of modern tunnel construction. A highlight is the 500-meter tunnel that automatically lights up as you walk through it. Airy staircases and viewing platforms offer panoramic views of the Padastertal valley and surrounding mountains.The trail is a four-season destination.
