Getting There

Car

From the center of Kaprun, head south on B168 (Kaiser-Franz-Josef-Straße) for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Turn left onto an unnamed road and continue straight for about 2 kilometers. Gaisstein is located at the end of this road. Parking is available nearby, but fees may apply depending on the season. Parking at Alpenhaus Kaprun is €12 per night. Free parking is available at Kaprun Center and the Maiskogel valley station.

Take bus 660 from Zell am See to Kaprun. From Kaprun, it is a short distance to Gaisstein. From the bus stop in Kaprun, follow the road south and then turn left onto the unnamed road leading to Gaisstein.
