Car

From the center of Kaprun, head south on B168 (Kaiser-Franz-Josef-Straße) for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Turn left onto an unnamed road and continue straight for about 2 kilometers. Gaisstein is located at the end of this road. Parking is available nearby, but fees may apply depending on the season. Parking at Alpenhaus Kaprun is €12 per night. Free parking is available at Kaprun Center and the Maiskogel valley station.
Public Transport

Take bus 660 from Zell am See to Kaprun. From Kaprun, it is a short distance to Gaisstein. From the bus stop in Kaprun, follow the road south and then turn left onto the unnamed road leading to Gaisstein. The Guest Mobility Ticket Salzburg provides free use of public transport in the entire state of Salzburg.
