Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From Jenbach, take the Zillertalbahn train to Fügen. From the Fügen train station, take a local bus towards Hochfügen. Get off at the Hochfügener Straße stop. From there, it's a short walk to the hiking area. A single bus fare from Fügen to Hochfügener Straße is approximately €3-5.

  • Driving

    From the Inntalautobahn A12, take the Zillertal exit and follow the B169 towards Fügen. In Fügen, follow signs for Hochfügen. The hiking area is located along Hochfügener Straße. Parking is available in Hochfügen. During the day parking is free, but overnight parking costs €35. Parking tickets can be purchased at ticket machines.

  • Cable Car

    From Fügen, take the Spieljochbahn cable car up the mountain. At the top, you'll find numerous hiking trails with varying difficulty levels. A round-trip ticket on the Spieljochbahn costs approximately €25-30. Check the operating hours before planning your trip.
