Driving
From Kaltenbach or Ried im Zillertal, follow the Zillertaler Höhenstraße, a panoramic toll road, directly to Speichersee Mizun. The toll is approximately €9 for a car. The road is well-maintained but can be narrow in places, so drive carefully. Parking is available at the lake.
Public Transport
Take the Zillertalbahn train to a village along the Zillertaler Höhenstraße, such as Kaltenbach. From there, local buses or taxis can take you to the toll entrance of the Höhenstraße. Be aware that public transport up the Höhenstraße itself may be limited, so check schedules in advance. A taxi from Kaltenbach to Speichersee Mizun will cost approximately €30-€40.
