    The Golden Roof is located in the heart of Innsbruck's Old Town (Altstadt) on Herzog-Friedrich-Straße 15. If you are already in the city center, walking is the easiest way to reach it. From the Innsbruck train station, it is approximately a 15-minute walk. Head towards the City Tower (Stadtturm); the Golden Roof is nearby. There is no fee to view the Golden Roof from the outside.

    If arriving at Innsbruck's main train station (Hauptbahnhof), you can take a bus or tram to reach the Golden Roof. Several bus and tram lines connect the train station to the city center. Take the tram (Line 5) from Innsbruck Hbf to Innsbruck Anichstraße/Rathausgalerien. Alternatively, take a bus from Innsbruck Hbf to Innsbruck Maria-Theresien-Straße. From either stop, it is a short walk to the Golden Roof. A single tram or bus fare is approximately €3.
