It is the only remaining bridge of the seven originally constructed in the area during the Tsarist era. Commissioned by Tsar Alexander III, the bridge was built in 1894 with the aim of solidifying the Russian Empire's military presence in the Caucasus.Replacing a wooden bridge erected in 1851, the Arch Bridge spans 275 meters with 14 spans and has an 8-meter width. Its multi-span design allows it to withstand powerful floods and mudflows. Today, the bridge serves as a pedestrian crossing, offering stunning views of Red Village and the surrounding landscape.
