From Stepanakert, take a Marshrutky (minibus) heading towards Askeran. Marshrutkys depart regularly from the main bus station on Azatamartikneri Poghota in Stepanakert. The ride to Askeran takes approximately 30 minutes. Once in Askeran, ask the driver to drop you off near the fortress. From the drop-off point, it's a 25-30 minute walk to the fortress. Marshrutky fare is approximately 200 AMD.
