From Baku, take a bus from the Baku International Bus Station towards Guba or Shabran. Get off at a suitable point near the village of Dashli Yanar or Siyazan. From there, the most common way to reach Chirag Gala is by foot, which involves a 6km hike along rocky trails. Bus fare from Baku to Shabran: approximately 9-13 AZN. There are no entrance fees or charges associated with hiking to the fortress.
Taxi & Hiking
Alternatively, hire a taxi or ride-share directly from Baku to a point as close as possible to Chirag Gala. Be prepared for a challenging 6km hike from the drop-off point to the fortress due to the rocky terrain. Taxi fare from Baku to Chirag Gala: approximately 50-60 AZN. There are no entrance fees to access the Chirag Gala site itself.
