Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Hamad Town, head west towards the main road, Sheikh Khalifa Bin Salman Highway. Walk along the sidewalk until you reach the Al-Muharraq Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight. You will eventually reach a roundabout. Take the first exit at the roundabout to stay on the highway. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will see a sign for Buri on your right. Turn right onto the road leading to Buri. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers, and the Dilmun Burial Mounds will be located on your left. Look for a small path leading into the mounds.

  • Public Bus

    Start at the nearest bus stop in Hamad Town. Take Bus No. 10 towards Manama. Get off at the bus stop near the Buri area, which is approximately a 20-minute ride. From the bus stop, walk west on the main road until you see the sign for the Dilmun Burial Mounds on your left. The mounds are about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from Hamad Town and head towards Sheikh Khalifa Bin Salman Highway. Cycle on the bike lane towards Buri. After crossing the Al-Muharraq Bridge, you will see the Buri exit on your right after about 3 kilometers. Turn into the road leading to Buri and continue straight for about 2 kilometers. You will find the Dilmun Burial Mounds on your left side, and you can park your bicycle nearby.
