Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Bahrain Bay, walking to the beach is a pleasant option. Follow the pedestrian walkways and signs directing you towards Bahrain Bay Beach. The walk from nearby landmarks such as the Bahrain World Trade Center or The Avenues mall should take approximately 15-20 minutes, offering scenic views of the bay and the city skyline. No costs are associated with walking.
Public Transport
To reach Bahrain Bay Beach via public transportation from Manama city center, use the Bahrain Public Transport Company (BUS) services. Several bus routes service the area around Bahrain Bay. Look for buses heading towards Manama; the bus routes are usually well-marked. Get off at the nearest stop to Bahrain Bay, such as Palace Avenue-2/Ras Ruman or Government Ave-4/Ras Ruman, which may require a short walk (approximately 10-15 minutes) to the beach. The bus fare is generally around 0.30 BHD for a single trip.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis are readily available throughout Manama. Simply hail a taxi from the street or use a ride-hailing app like Uber or Careem to book a ride to Bahrain Bay Beach. The ride from central Manama should take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay around 2-4 BHD for the trip. Note that fares may be higher during peak hours or on weekends.
Driving
If driving from central Manama, follow signs towards Bahrain Bay. Once in the Bahrain Bay area, look for parking facilities near the beach entrance. Parking is available, and the fee is approximately 0.200 BHD per 30 minutes for standard parking and 0.500 BHD per 30 minutes for premium parking. Be aware that parking spaces may be limited, especially during peak hours and weekends. Be prepared with cash or a credit card for payment.
