Established in 2007, the museum showcases the intricate craft of weaving gold, silver, and silk threads into elaborate ribbons. It serves as a living workshop where elderly Bahraini women pass on their skills to younger generations.

Kurar House is located in Muharraq, easily accessible on foot from nearby attractions such as the Pearling Path Visitor and Experience Center and Seyadi House. From the Pearling Path center, walk approximately 500 meters north along the main road, following signs for the Shaikh Ebrahim Center. Kurar House will be on your left. No costs are involved.

From Manama, take bus A1 to Muharraq. Alight at Muharraq Bus Terminal, which is a 5-minute walk to Kurar House. From the bus terminal, walk along Sh Salman Avenue, then turn left. The museum will be on your right. A single bus fare costs approximately 0.40 BHD.
