Busaiteen Walkway: A Coastal Oasis

Busaiteen Walkway, also known as Al-Busaiteen Waterfront Walkway, is a scenic coastal development located in Al Sayh, within Bahrain's Muharraq Governorate. Opened on February 11, 2020, in conjunction with Bahrain's National Sports Day, this 2-kilometer walkway has quickly become a favorite spot for both locals and tourists. The walkway offers stunning views of the Arabian Gulf and a refreshing sea breeze, creating a tranquil environment for leisurely strolls, invigorating jogs, and family outings. It features a 10-meter-wide walking track covering 18,000 square meters, providing ample space for pedestrians and joggers. Approximately 78 fitness and activity stations are available along the walkway, offering a range of exercise options for fitness enthusiasts. Busaiteen Walkway also serves as a venue for national events and entertainment activities, fostering a sense of community and cultural exchange. The walkway includes a public plaza, green spaces, family rest areas, a restaurant, public amenities, and parking for over 400 vehicles. It is also the first project of its kind in Bahrain to operate on renewable energy, reflecting a commitment to sustainable development.
