Taxi

Taxis are readily available in Manama and offer a convenient way to reach the Bahrain International Circuit. A taxi from Manama to the circuit typically costs around 32 BHD. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Be sure the driver switches on the meter or agree on a fare before starting your journey.

Driving to Bahrain International Circuit from Manama is straightforward. Head south on the Shaikh Khalifa Bin Salman Highway, and the circuit is approximately a 25-minute drive. Parking is available at the circuit. Free parking is offered for vehicles with at least three ticket holders. For cars with two or fewer ticket holders, parking costs 10 BHD. Paid parking passes can be purchased in advance by calling 1745 0000.
Bus and Taxi

To reach the circuit from Manama using public transport, take a bus from Sh Isa Ave-2 to Isa Town terminal A1. From the Isa Town terminal, take a taxi to Bahrain International Circuit. The total journey takes approximately 48 minutes and costs between $23 and $28. A single bus fare costs 0.300 BHD. Alternatively, a day pass for unlimited travel costs 0.700 BHD. Taxi fare from Isa Town terminal to the circuit will be additional.

The Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) is an ultramodern motorsport facility located in the heart of the Sakhir desert. Designed by German architect Hermann Tilke, the circuit incorporates many features of local culture. Construction of the circuit began in 2002 and was completed in just 16 months at a cost of $150 million. BIC made history on April 4, 2004, as the first venue in the Middle East to host a Formula 1 World Championship race. Since then, the Bahrain Grand Prix has become renowned as one of the most exciting and atmospheric races on the Formula 1 calendar. In 2014, the circuit celebrated its 10th anniversary by hosting its first-ever night race, adding to its reputation as a world-class venue. The circuit boasts multiple layouts, including a 5.412-kilometer Grand Prix track, and holds an FIA Grade 1 license. It hosts a range of motor racing events, including the FIA World Endurance Championship and GP2 Series. Beyond racing, BIC serves as a cultural and entertainment hub, hosting concerts, exhibitions, and other large-scale events.
