Bab Al Bahrain: Gateway to Bahrain's Heritage

In 2013, a complete refurbishment restored the building to its former glory. Today, the ground floor houses a tourist information office and a handicrafts shop, welcoming visitors to explore Bahrain's rich culture and history.Once situated on the Manama coastline, extensive land reclamation projects have shifted the structure several kilometers inland. Nevertheless, it remains the main entrance to the Manama Souq, a vibrant marketplace filled with spices, textiles, perfumes, and traditional handicrafts.
