Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from Bandarban town. Head southwest on the Bandarban-Thanchi Road. The distance is approximately 12 kilometers and should take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic and road conditions. You will pass through beautiful hilly landscapes, so enjoy the view. Bononibash Hill Resort is located on the left side of the road at the address: Bandarban-Thanchi Rd, 4600. Look for the sign indicating the resort.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can catch a local bus or a CNG (auto-rickshaw) from Bandarban town to Thanchi. Buses typically leave from the main bus station and the fare is about 30-50 BDT. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you reach Thanchi, you can hire a CNG or a motorcycle taxi to take you to Bononibash Hill Resort, which is about 5 kilometers away. The cost for this ride will be around 100-150 BDT.

• Walking

  If you are feeling adventurous and would like to hike, you can walk from Thanchi to Bononibash Hill Resort. The trail is about 5 kilometers and takes roughly 1-2 hours depending on your pace. Follow the main road and keep an eye out for signs leading to the resort. Be prepared for a moderately challenging hike with some elevation gain.
