From Cox's Bazar Kolatoli Bus Stand, a taxi or ride-share (Uber Moto or CNG) to Sampan Beach takes approximately 15-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay between 150-400 BDT for a CNG or Uber Moto and 250-400 BDT for a taxi. Confirm the price before starting your journey.
Public Transport
Local buses heading towards Himchari or Inani Beach along Marine Drive pass by Sampan Beach. Inquire locally about bus routes and schedules at the Kolatoli Bus Stand. The fare is approximately 20-30 BDT per person. From the bus stop, a short walk is required to reach the beach; confirm the exact drop-off point with the conductor.
Driving
If driving from Cox's Bazar city, follow Marine Drive south towards Himchari. Sampan Beach is located beside the road, approximately 6 km from Kolatoli Bus Stand. Limited parking is available near Sampan Beach Resort. Parking fees may apply, typically around 50-100 BDT.
