After the monsoon season, DB Haor undergoes a magical transformation, becoming a vast expanse of red water lilies. The sight of thousands of these vibrant blooms, particularly during the early morning hours, is truly breathtaking. The surrounding hills of Meghalaya, India, add to the scenic charm, creating a picturesque and tranquil environment. Birdwatchers can spot various species, including বালিশাহস, পাতিসরালিs, cormorants, and জল ময়ুরীs. Adding a touch of history to the natural beauty, a ruined temple, estimated to be around 200 years old, stands near the haor.
