Getting There

  If you are driving from Jaflong, head southeast on the main road towards the border area. Follow the road signs leading to the Indian border. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will reach a junction; take a left turn here. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers until you reach the Police Bazar area in Shillong, India. Once in Police Bazar, follow the signs to Ward's Lake. The bridge is located near the lake, and parking is available nearby.

  To reach Ward's Lake Bridge using public transportation, start by taking a local bus or shared taxi from Jaflong to the nearest major town, which is Dawki. Buses typically leave every hour, and the fare is around 50 Taka. Once in Dawki, you can catch a bus to Shillong, which takes about 2-3 hours and costs approximately 300 Taka. Upon arrival in Shillong, you can either take a taxi or walk to Police Bazar, where you will find signs guiding you towards Ward's Lake. The bridge is a short walk from the lake.
