Getting There

• Private Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Lawachara National Park. Head southeast on the main road towards the town of Juri. Continue driving for about 8 kilometers until you reach the junction at Juri. At the junction, take a left turn onto the road leading to Madhabpur Lake. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Madhabpur Lake. Ensure you have a GPS or map app ready, as the area can be tricky to navigate.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Madhabpur Lake by public transportation, start at the Lawachara National Park entrance. Look for a local bus or shared auto-rickshaw heading to Juri. The fare should be around 30-50 BDT. Once you arrive in Juri, you can hire a local rickshaw to take you the remaining 5 kilometers to Madhabpur Lake. The rickshaw fare may vary, but expect to pay around 100-150 BDT. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the lake entrance.

• Walking (if nearby)

  If you are staying near the vicinity of Madhabpur Lake within Lawachara National Park, you can opt to walk to the lake. Begin at your accommodation and head southeast towards Juri. Follow the local trails for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the lake. This option is ideal for those who enjoy trekking and want to experience the natural beauty of the area up close.
