Proyash Sena Binodon Park, also known as Prayas Sena Amusement Park, is a sprawling recreational area established in 2013 by the Bangladesh Army on both banks of the Ghaghat River. Encompassing approximately 1,100 acres, the park is designed to provide a refreshing and natural ambiance with a wide variety of medicinal, forest, and fruit trees.The park features three picnic spots named Teesta, Karatoa, and Yamuna, making it an ideal location for family outings and gatherings. Visitors can explore various artistic sculptures and installations scattered throughout the park, adding a touch of creativity to the natural landscape. One of the park's unique features is its artificial beach, offering a seaside experience in the heart of Rangpur.Proyash Sena Binodon Park is not just a place for recreation but also contributes to social welfare. A significant portion of the park's revenue, reportedly 75%, is allocated to the welfare of disabled individuals, supporting initiatives such as special schools for disabled children in Syedpur and Rangpur. The park is known for its clean and safe environment, thanks to the security measures implemented by the army. It operates every day of the week from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
