    To reach Sundarban Zero Point using public transport, start by taking a bus from Canning to Basanti. Buses leave frequently, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Upon reaching Basanti, hire a local auto-rickshaw or cycle rickshaw to take you to Hingalganj, which is approximately 30 km away. Ensure you specify your destination as Sundarban Zero Point to the driver. The fare for the auto-rickshaw should be around INR 300-400. Once you reach Hingalganj, you may need to take a short walk or hire a local guide to help you navigate the last few kilometers to Sundarban Zero Point.

  • Car

    If driving, start from Canning and head northeast on Canning - Basanti Road (NH 116) towards Basanti for approximately 25 km until you reach Basanti. From Basanti, take the left onto the Basanti - Hingalganj Road and continue for about 30 km. You will eventually reach Samsher Nagar. The last stretch will be through local roads; keep an eye out for signage pointing towards Sundarban Zero Point. Parking is available nearby. There are no tolls on this route.
