Public Transport
From Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI), the most economical way to reach The Crane is by bus. The Transport Board operates the 12A or 12D bus from the airport to Crane. The bus departs approximately every 20 minutes, and the journey takes around 15 minutes. The closest bus stop to the resort is a short walk away. The bus fare is BDS$3.50 (approximately US$1.75) per person, payable in cash.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis are readily available at Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI). A taxi to The Crane Resort takes approximately 10 minutes. Expect to pay around US$20-25 (BDS$40-50). Be sure to agree on the fare with the driver before starting your journey. While Uber is not prevalent in Barbados, a local ride-hailing app called 'Pickup' is available.
Driving
If renting a car at Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI), follow the main highway towards the east coast. The Crane Resort is located in St. Philip. The drive takes approximately 15 minutes. Car rentals are available at the airport, with rates varying depending on the vehicle type and rental duration. Be aware that in Barbados, driving is on the left-hand side of the road. Parking is available at The Crane Resort for guests.
