If you are starting from the Cruise Terminal, exit the terminal and head south towards the main road, which is called the 'Princess Alice Highway.' Turn right and walk along the sidewalk until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Broad Street. Continue straight on Broad Street, passing shops and cafes. Independence Square will be on your left, just after you cross the traffic lights at the intersection with the 'Civic Square'. Look for the entrance to the park, which is well marked.

From the Garrison Savannah, exit towards the main road and turn left onto the 'Dover Road.' Follow this road until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto the 'Princess Alice Highway.' Continue straight until you reach Broad Street. Turn left onto Broad Street and walk down until you see Independence Square on your left, just after the traffic lights.

If you are at the Barbados Museum and Historical Society, exit the museum and head west on 'Dalkeith Road.' At the end of the road, turn right onto 'Spry Street.' Follow this street until it merges onto 'Civic Square.' Continue straight until you reach Broad Street. Turn left onto Broad Street and walk until you see Independence Square on your left.
