If you are near the Parliament Buildings, simply walk east across the Chamberlain Bridge. From National Heroes Square, walk south on Broad Street, then turn right towards the waterfront. The square is located on the Careenage, near the Independence Arch.
Public Transport
The Barbados Transport Board operates buses that stop near Independence Square. From either the Fairchild Street or Princess Alice bus terminals in Bridgetown, it's a short walk to the square. Bus fare is BDS$3.50 (approximately US$1.75), payable in local currency. Look for bus stops marked 'to City' or 'from City' to ensure you're heading in the right direction.
Taxi/Ride-Share

Parking is available at Independence Square Car Park, Carlisle Car Park, Lower Wharf Car Park, Princess Alice Highway Car Park and Coleridge St. (Temporary Car Park).
