Walking
If you are starting from the Bridgetown Port, exit the terminal and head towards the main road, which is called Princess Alice Highway. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Wharf Road. Continue straight for about 5 minutes, and you will see the impressive National Heroes Square on your left, right next to the Parliament Buildings.

From the major shopping area at Broad Street, head towards the waterfront. Walk down Broad Street until you reach the junction with Wharf Road. Turn right onto Wharf Road and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will pass several local shops and cafes along the way. National Heroes Square will be on your right, just before you reach the Parliament Buildings.

If you are coming from the Central Bank of Barbados, exit the bank and head towards the Independence Square. Walk straight through Independence Square and exit towards the waterfront. Once you reach the water, turn left and walk along the promenade until you reach the roundabout. Continue straight for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at National Heroes Square, which will be on your left before the Parliament Buildings.
