Public Transport
From Bridgetown, the capital, the most economical way to reach Foursquare Rum Distillery is by bus. Head to the Fairchild Street Terminal and look for bus routes 11, 16A or 34 heading towards St. Philip. These buses pass near the distillery. The journey takes approximately 45-60 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off at the 'Four Square' bus stop. From there, it's a short, approximately 5-minute walk to the distillery. The bus fare is BBD 3.50 per person each way. Ensure you have the exact fare, as drivers do not provide change.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis are readily available throughout Barbados, including in Bridgetown and at the Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI). A taxi from Bridgetown to Foursquare Rum Distillery takes around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay between BBD 74 - BBD 91. Always confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. Ride-sharing services are less common in Barbados, so taxis are the more reliable option.
Driving
If driving from the airport or Bridgetown, use the ABC Highway (Highway 1). Exit at the Four Roads junction and follow the signs to Foursquare Rum Distillery. The distillery is located on Foursquare Road. Ample free parking is available on-site.
