Walking
If you are in central Bridgetown, Kensington Oval is within walking distance. Head west towards President Kennedy Drive, following signs for the stadium. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes from National Heroes Square. Look for the statue of Sir Garfield Sobers at the entrance.
Public Transport
From Bridgetown, several public buses (operated by Barbados Transport Board, blue buses with yellow stripe, or privately owned yellow buses with blue stripe and ZR vans which are white with a maroon stripe) travel to Kensington Oval. Look for buses heading towards 'Kensington' or 'St. Michael' routes. The standard bus fare is BDS$3.50 (approximately US$1.75), payable in local currency. Alight at the bus stop closest to President Kennedy Drive and walk towards the Oval. Bus numbers 2, 3, 4, 2A, 5E, 3A or 25A will get you close to Kensington Oval.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis are readily available throughout Bridgetown. A taxi ride from the city center to Kensington Oval typically costs between BDS$20-30 (US$10-15), but confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. Taxis are easily identified by the 'Z' designation on their license plates. There is no Uber in Barbados.
Driving
If driving from elsewhere on the island, follow the main highways towards Bridgetown and then look for signs directing you to Kensington Oval. Limited street parking is available near the venue, but it can be challenging to find during matches or events. Parking may cost around BDS$10. A free park and ride service is available for some events.
