    From Grantley Adams International Airport, take a ZR van (local minibus) heading towards Crane or Long Beach. These vans are frequent and cost approximately BDS $2.50 per ride. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at The Crane Resort. The stop is just a short walk from the resort's entrance. Be sure to have cash ready for the fare. Alternatively, from Bridgetown, several bus lines including 11, 16A, 20, 27, and 33 will take you close to The Crane. Get off at the Diamond Valley stop, which is a 7-minute walk to the resort.

The Crane Resort, perched on the southeast coast of Barbados in the parish of St. Philip, holds the distinction of being the Caribbean's oldest continuously operating resort, established in 1887. Originally known as Crane Beach Hotel, it quickly became a sought-after hideaway for the world's elite, including the famous American cowboy William Frederick “Buffalo Bill” Cody. The resort's name comes from a commercial port that was on Crane Beach in the 1700s, where a crane was used to load and unload cargo from ships. The original 18 historic rooms are still available, surrounded by newer suites and penthouses.
