For those already in Bridgetown and looking for a scenic route, walking to Brighton Beach is a pleasant option. The walk is approximately 2.2 km and takes about 25 minutes. Head north along the coast from Bridgetown, following the Princess Alice Highway. Continue past the cruise terminal and the Pelican Craft Center. The beach will be on your left, just past the rum distillery. There are no costs associated with walking.

From Bridgetown, the most convenient way to reach Brighton Beach is by bus. Several bus routes from the Princess Alice Bus Terminal pass near Kensington Oval. ZR route 3 is a good option. Alternatively, look for buses heading towards Black Rock or the University of the West Indies (UWI). These buses typically depart from the Princess Alice Bus Terminal. The ride is short, approximately 5-10 minutes. Get off near Kensington Oval and walk approximately 1 km (10-15 minutes) north along the Spring Garden Highway. Look for the beach access point on your left, just past the rum distillery. The bus fare is $3.50 BBD.
