Public Transport
From Bridgetown, the capital, catch any bus (1, 1A, 1B, 1C, 1G, 1H, 27, 29, 59, 1SA, 1C1, 1A1, 1CB, SE 1) heading north along Highway 1. The journey takes approximately 25-30 minutes, and the fare is BDS$3.50 (USD$1.75). Alight at the Holetown stop near the post office. Surfside is located behind the post office, a short walk towards the beach. Buses run frequently, approximately every 10-15 minutes.
Taxi/Ride-Share
From anywhere in Holetown, a taxi or ride-share is a convenient option. Taxis are readily available and familiar with Surfside's location behind the post office. A short ride within Holetown should cost approximately BDS$15-20 (USD$7.50-10). Always confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. Note that ride-sharing services like Uber are not widely available in Barbados; local taxis are the primary option.
Walking
If you are already in Holetown, Surfside is easily accessible on foot. From the main road (Highway 1), look for the Holetown Post Office. A beach access path located just behind the post office leads directly to Surfside. The walk is short and pleasant, offering glimpses of the beautiful coastline. From the south end of Holetown Beach, you can hop on the boardwalk and enjoy a leisurely stroll along the waterfront. From the northern end, the boardwalk continues onto Folkestone Marine Park and other lovely beaches.
Driving
If driving, navigate to Holetown and look for the Holetown Post Office. Limited parking is available behind the Holetown police station, a short walk from Surfside. Parking here is free. Alternatively, paid parking may be available at the Wine World car park, with fees around BDS$20 (USD$10), redeemable at Nishi Restaurant. From the parking area, follow the signs towards the beach and the post office; Surfside is located just behind it.
