From Bridgetown, the capital, the most economical way to reach Sunbury Plantation is by bus. Take the #6 bus from the Fairchild Street Terminal in Bridgetown towards Sam Lord's Castle. The bus fare is approximately $4 BBD. Ask the driver to let you off at the stop closest to Sunbury Plantation in the area of Bonwell. From the bus stop, it's a short walk (approximately 5 minutes) to the plantation entrance. Be aware that bus schedules can be infrequent, so factor in potential waiting time.

Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis are readily available throughout Barbados, including in Bridgetown. A taxi from the city center to Sunbury Plantation will cost approximately $35-$45 BBD and the journey takes around 15-20 minutes. Ride-sharing services are less common, so taxis are the more reliable option. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.

Driving
If driving from Bridgetown, head east towards the ABC Highway (Highway 5). Continue onto Highway 5 until you reach the roundabout, then take the exit onto Highway 4B. Follow Highway 4B, then turn right onto Sunbury Road. The plantation will be on your right. Parking is available on-site. Expect the drive to take around 20 minutes. Parking is free.
