Accra Beach Hotel & Spa is a 4-star beachfront resort situated on 3.5 acres of lush gardens on Rockley Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Barbados. The hotel's original owners came from Ghana and named their three-bedroom guesthouse after the capital city, Accra. The current owners, the Charles family from Trinidad, bought the hotel in 1968 and expanded it.The hotel boasts 224 contemporary guestrooms and suites, each equipped with complimentary WiFi, a coffee maker, a mini-refrigerator, and a private balcony. Guests can choose from island, pool, or ocean view rooms. For added luxury, suites offer Jacuzzi tubs and more space.Accra Beach Hotel & Spa features multiple swimming pools, including a swim-up bar, an adults-only pool, and a children's pool. Guests can indulge in treatments at the Chakra Spa, which offers massages and other services. The hotel also offers four restaurants and three bars, serving local and international cuisine. Weekly entertainment includes karaoke nights, limbo dancing, and live music.The hotel is ideally located 15 minutes from Grantley Adams International Airport and 10 minutes from Bridgetown. It's across the street from Quayside Centre, which has shops, cafes, and restaurants.

From Grantley Adams International Airport, take bus route 27 towards Bridgetown. Transfer at the Fairchild Street Bus Terminal to a bus going towards Oistins (routes 12A, 12D, 28). Ask the driver to let you off near Accra Beach Hotel. Walk along the main road towards the hotel. The total journey takes approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. The bus fare is BBD 3.50 (approximately USD 1.75) per person, per ride, so BBD 7.00 (approximately USD 3.50) total.
