From Bridgetown, the capital, the most economical way to reach Foursquare Rum Distillery is by bus. Head to the Fairchild Street Terminal and look for bus routes 11, 16A or 34 heading towards St. Philip. These buses pass near the distillery. The journey takes approximately 45-60 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off at the 'Four Square' bus stop. From there, it's a short, approximately 5-minute walk to the distillery. The bus fare is BBD 3.50 per person each way.

Founded in 1996 by the Seale family, with Richard Seale as the driving force, it has quickly become a beacon of quality and craftsmanship in the Caribbean spirits industry.Foursquare stands out for its commitment to producing authentic Barbadian rum. Eschewing the use of flavorings or additives, the distillery relies on traditional pot and column stills, as well as innovative aging techniques, to create a diverse range of rum expressions. The distillery uses both molasses and sugarcane juice blends as a base. Visitors are welcome to explore the distillery and heritage park, observing the rum-making process from start to finish.
