Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car from the South Coast, start on the main road (Highway 7). Follow the road northwest towards Bridgetown. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the junction with Highway 1. Take the first exit onto Highway 1 towards the west. Keep an eye out for signs for Lower Estate; you will need to turn left onto Lower Estate Road. The Barbados Pocket Guide is located in the Sun Group Building on your right. Parking is available nearby but may incur a small fee.

• Public Transportation (Minibus)

  To reach Barbados Pocket Guide via minibus, catch a minibus from the South Coast heading towards Bridgetown. Look for route numbers 1, 2, or 3. These minibuses are frequent and will drop you off in Bridgetown. After getting off, head towards Lower Estate; you can ask the driver to let you know when you are near. Walk along the road until you reach Lower Estate Road, then turn right. The Sun Group Building will be on your right. The fare for the minibus is approximately BBD 2 (Barbadian dollars).

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from your location in South Coast to the Barbados Pocket Guide. Taxis are readily available and can be hailed on the street or booked via your hotel. Ensure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it usually ranges from BBD 20 to BBD 30 depending on your exact starting point. The driver will take you straight to the Sun Group Building, and you won’t need to worry about parking or navigating.
