Walking
From the Bridgetown Cruise Terminal, Brighton Beach is approximately a 20-minute walk. Head north along the main road (Spring Garden Highway). Follow the road, and you'll see signs for Brighton Beach. The beach will be on your left, just past the Mount Gay Rum Distillery. There are sidewalks for most of the route.
Public Transport
From Bridgetown, catch a bus (1B or any bus heading towards Black Rock) from the Barbarees Hill bus stop. The ride is short, approximately 6 minutes. Ask the driver to let you off at the 'Black Rock - Carlton Sup' stop, which is the closest to Brighton Beach. From there, it's a short walk towards the beach. The bus fare is $2 BBD.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis are readily available in Bridgetown. A taxi ride from the city center to Brighton Beach will take around 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay between $12-$16 BBD. Ride-sharing services like Uber are not widely available in Barbados, so taxis are the most reliable option.
Driving
If driving from Bridgetown, head north on Spring Garden Highway (Highway 1). Continue along this road, passing Kensington Oval on your right. Look for signs indicating Brighton Beach. Turn left onto Brighton Beach Road. Free parking is available near Brandons Beach, a short walk from Brighton Beach. Parking can fill up quickly during peak hours.
