Public Transport
From Bridgetown, the most economical way to reach Sunbury Plantation is by bus. Take the #6 bus from the Fairchild Street Terminal in Bridgetown towards Six Roads. The bus ride takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Ask the driver to let you off at the Bonwell stop, which is the closest to Sunbury Plantation. From the Bonwell bus stop, it's a short 5-minute walk to the entrance of the plantation. The bus fare is approximately $2 BBD per person.

Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis are readily available in Bridgetown and at the Grantley Adams International Airport. A taxi ride from Bridgetown to Sunbury Plantation takes approximately 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay between $35-$45 BBD for the taxi fare. Ride-sharing services like Uber are not widely available in Barbados, so taxis are the more reliable option.

If driving from Bridgetown, head east towards the ABC Highway (Highway 5). Continue onto Highway 5 until you reach the roundabout at Six Roads. Take the second exit onto Highway 5 towards St. Philip. Follow the signs for Sunbury Plantation. The drive takes approximately 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Parking is available on-site at Sunbury Plantation.
