Walking
From the Bridgetown Cruise Terminal, Brighton Beach is approximately a 20-minute walk. Exit the terminal and follow the main road (Harbour Road) towards the Elsie Payne Roundabout. Turn right at the roundabout onto the Spring Garden Highway. Continue along the highway, and you will see the beach on your left. Take the first left-hand turn, then turn right at the T-junction. Public access to the beach is a short walk down the road. This route is straightforward and well-paved.
Public Transport
From Bridgetown, take any bus from the Princess Alice Bus Terminal that passes the Kensington Oval cricket ground (e.g., ZR 3). Get off near Kensington Oval and walk towards the Spring Garden Highway (approximately 10-15 minutes). Once on the highway, walk along the beach until you arrive to Brighton Beach. A bus fare is $2 BBD.
Taxi/Ride-Share
A taxi from Bridgetown to Brighton Beach is a quick and convenient option. The ride typically takes only a few minutes, depending on traffic. Taxis are readily available throughout Bridgetown, including at the cruise terminal and major hotels. Expect to pay between $12-$16 BBD for the trip.
Driving
From Bridgetown, head west along the Princess Alice Highway. Turn right onto Harbour Road, following signs for the Spring Garden Highway. At the Elsie Payne roundabout, turn right. At the traffic lights, turn left onto the Spring Garden Highway. You will see the beach on your left; take the first left-hand turn. Turn right at the T-junction. Public access to the beach is a short distance down the road. Free parking is available at the parking lot off Spring Garden Highway on the northern end of Brandons Beach, just beyond Rascal's restaurant. During peak hours, the parking lot can fill up quickly.
