Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the Cathedral of Our Lady (Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekathedraal), exit the cathedral and head south towards the Groenplaats. Walk straight across the Groenplaats, and then turn right onto the Huidevettersstraat. Continue along this street until you reach the Grote Markt. Brabo's Monument is located at the center of the Grote Markt, just in front of the town hall.

  • Public Transport (Tram)

    If you're close to the Antwerp Central Station, take tram line 9 or 11 from the station heading towards the city center. Get off at the 'Meir' stop. From there, walk a few minutes down the Meir shopping street, then take a left onto the Korte Koepoortstraat. Continue until you reach the Grote Markt, where you will find Brabo's Monument.

    If you are near the Antwerp Zoo, exit the zoo and walk towards the Koningin Astridplein. From there, head west along the Frankrijklei until you reach the Meir.
