Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Antwerp Central Station, exit the station and head towards the main entrance. Once outside, walk straight along the De Keyserlei street until you reach the intersection with the Meir. Turn right onto Meir and continue walking until you reach the Groenplaats. At Groenplaats, you will see the Cathedral of Our Lady. From there, head towards the river by walking down the Korte Koepoortstraat. Follow the road until you reach Steenplein, where Het Steen is located right on the waterfront.

  • Public Transport (Tram)

    To reach Het Steen via tram, go to the nearest tram stop. If you are at Antwerp Central Station, take tram number 9 or 11 from the station towards 'Kiel' or 'Bredabaan'. Get off at the 'Meir' stop. From there, walk straight to Groenplaats. Once you reach Groenplaats, head towards the river down Korte Koepoortstraat, which will lead you to Steenplein where Het Steen is located.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From any central location, you can take a bus to the 'Meir' stop. If you are near the Meir, take bus 21 or 22 from any nearby bus stop. Get off at the Meir stop. Walk towards Groenplaats, and from there, proceed to Korte Koepoortstraat leading you to Steenplein. Het Steen will be on your left as you approach the waterfront.

  • Walking from Meir

    If you are already on the Meir shopping street, head towards the Groenplaats. Once there, you will see the Cathedral of Our Lady. From Groenplaats, take Korte Koepoortstraat down towards the river. Continue straight, and you will arrive at Steenplein, where Het Steen is situated at the water's edge.
